The AMA School Safety PatrolTM Survey Contest (the “Contest“) is being held by the Alberta Motor Association (“AMA”). School Safety Patrol teachers and supervisors have a chance to win a $100.00 Indigo Gift Card.
No purchase is required. The Contest is open to all teachers or supervisors who are currently participating in the AMA School Safety PatrolTM program for their school (each a “Contestant”). Employees, officers, and directors of AMA and its subsidiaries and any person who resides with or is an immediate family member of any such person cannot be a Contestant. The Contest is subject to the laws of Alberta and the laws of Canada as applicable.
The Contest will begin on January 8, 2025 at 8:00 am Mountain Daylight Time (“MDT”) and will close at 11:59 pm MDT on January 29, 2025 (“Contest Close“). To enter the Contest, Contestants will fully and honestly complete and submit the AMA School Safety PatrolTM survey when invited to do so, at which time the Contestant will automatically receive an entry (the “Entry”) by email. All Entries must be received before the Contest Close to be eligible. Contestants may only enter a maximum of one (1) Entry into this Contest.
A total of one (1) prizes (the “Prize”) will be awarded in this Contest. The Prize is a $100.00 Indigo Gift Card provided by AMA.
One random draw will be held within three (3) business days after the Contest Close. The Prize winner will be drawn from all Entries properly submitted. The chances of winning depend on the number of Entries received.
AMA will contact the Prize winner on-line or other means which are reasonably available to arrange for the pick up or delivery of the Prize to the Prize winner. If, for any reason, it is not possible within a ten (10) day period to contact the Prize winner, despite customary diligent efforts, AMA reserves the right to disqualify that Entry and select another Entry by random draw to be the Winner of the Prize.
The Prize must be accepted as described: No substitutes. The Prize may only be accepted by the Prize winner selected and may not be transferred to any other person prior to being awarded.
If for any reason in the opinion of AMA, in its sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, AMA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, including any method of entry.
With respect to submitting the survey online, AMA will not be responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed internet/email computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to an Contestant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from using or downloading any materials in this Contest.
AMA will not be liable for surveys not received and Entries not being created due to technical problems, electronic systems failures, third party interference, bugs, viruses or any similar computer or electronic problem.
Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Entry, being the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
All Entries become the property of AMA and none will be returned. As per AMA’s privacy policy, AMA does not sell or redistribute any personal information to unaffiliated third parties. AMA will not enter into correspondence with any Contestant except other than the Prize winner, is at AMA’s own initiative.
By entering the Contest, the Prize winner consents to AMA publishing or announcing their name in future publicity, without the Prize winner’s permission or consent or any compensation.

By entering the Contest, all Contestants agree to be bound by these Contest rules and release all parties associated with this Contest from any liability with respect to this Contest or any Prize.
By entering this contest, Contestants automatically accept these Contest rules. AMA reserves the right to withhold the Prize or disqualify the Prize winner’s Entry in the event that a Prize winner fails or refuses to comply with these Contest rules. All decisions by AMA with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final.
