Teddy bear hugs, speed competitions, and bubble magic were just a few of the ways we celebrated the 2024/25 class of AMA’s School Safety Patrol team. As they take a well-earned break for the summer, we hope you’ll join us in sharing our thanks for the nearly 13,000 patrollers across Alberta who helped keep school crosswalks safe this year—they did an amazing job!
Here’s a look at some of our favourite moments from this year’s patroller parties:

Teddy greets the busses as patrollers arrive for a fun filled day at the park.

Teddy welcomes patrollers with a warm bear hug.

Staff & Volunteers from the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village add a little music to the day’s festivities, while students learn a few traditional dance steps and craft their own flower wreaths.

Future roadside heroes in the making, Patrollers had the chance to race against the clock with our tire change challenge.

See you next year!
